Perth’s premiere winter event created in 2019 as a safe space for the entire LGBTIQA+ community to celebrate country dance - A Modern Bushdance!
the big picture
Since 2019, over $35K from event proceeds have funded programs benefiting mental well-being and loneliness among vulnerable LGBTIQA+ members.
collaboration
A small committee team along with dedicated volunteers make the event possible along with our partners that include; sectors of government, charities, corporate partners and the arts.

A celebratory night of costumes and camaraderie featuring Perth’s iconic Mucky Duck Bush Band, showstopping performances, activated spaces at a one-of-a-kind event full of unique experiences.
Vic Park Pride was created in response to the same-sex marriage plebiscite of 2017, during which our community felt targeted.
Our mission is to create a safe and inclusive space for LGBTIQ individuals, their families, and allies. We believe in promoting acceptance, understanding, and equality for all members of our community.
Throughout the year, we organise a variety of events that engage the community and build positive connections. These events aim to showcase and celebrate the diversity within our community, while also providing a platform for expression and empowerment.
